Quick little nugget about me

I started this site (pankpages.com) back in ’98. I used the site as a portfolio for my web design work and to showcase some of my miscellaneous works . I did have some really great clients but I decided to stop doing full custom websites.

Waaaaay back in the day a bunch of us used to hang out at andyart and I made some really good friends over there at his forum. His site closed and I decided to jump in and open my own Photoshop tutorial site and forum, teamphotoshop.com. After about a year or so the site grew way beyond what I expected and became one of the most popular Photoshop/graphic design sites on the net.  With millions of page views a month the little site that was a hangout for a few buddies quickly became a full fledged community and I made even more great friends.

The teamphotoshop site was fortunate enough to be featured in a few magazines and even got a mention in a Scott Kelby book.

I started getting requests to design/code forum skins (designs) for vBulletin so I made a couple and put them up for sale. Within a few months it was growing out of control and I had to move the business to it’s own domain. This is when vbskinz.com was born. Within a few months (again) I started gaining popularity and built the foundation as a very reputable business. Now people started requesting skins for phpBB and my great friend Shawn (better known as mobilebadboy around the net) joined my team (if you can call 2 people a team)

It was time to change the name of the business again to something that didn’t have a name that only reflected the vBulletin side of the business and thus eXtremepixels.com was born!

Soon after that I began to offer IPB skins as well and the business kept growing and growing. After many years of running the business it was time for a long deserved break so I put eXtremepixels up for sale and now I have time to post here on my blog!
