While I was listening to Howard Stern yesterday (!@#* you FCC and thank you Sirius) I heard him play a clip of what he referred to as I.R.S from the new GNR Chinese Democracy CD that has been 10 years in the making. It peaked my interest so I did a little Googling to see what I could dig up.
Sure enough it looks like a couple of new songs were leaked. I happened to find a forum with a couple of links and all I have to say is, pretty cool. From the way it looks the most expensive record ever made will be out next month. We’ll see. It’s only been 10 years in the making… But it may have been worth the wait.
You have to check out this link to see some really kick ass pumpkin carvings! Wow!

I have to say the new video iPods look really nice. I especially like the black version ;) So if you have $300-$400 to blow I’m sure you would enjoy them…
Or you can sign up to get one for free
I’ve done this in the past and I’m being 100% honest (it works). Here is what I have gotten so far for free.
iPod-
Photo iPod-
19 in. monitor-
Dell computer-
Mac mini-
Seriously. I got all of the above items and this is not a spam. They are legit companies who get paid very well from advertisers. It basically works like this. You sign up, and you complete one of the free trials. The only thing that now sucks is that normally you have to spend a few bucks “after” the free trial (still $’s of dollars cheaper than actually buying one ). Normally if there are no offers that are 100% free I buy an item, have it shipped, etc. Overall it is normally only a few bucks. And the sponsors are for the most part well known. If this were a scam companies like AOL and Direct tv would not have anything to with it. Plus I’ve gotten all the free stuff I’ve ever signed for.
Ok, also when you sign up you get a link to post and to give to friends, etc. That is how you earn your free stuff.
For example if you sign up for the video iPods and get the 60gig you need to have 8 people sign up under your link, the 30gig iPod is only 5.
Here is the link to the video iPods. This is the link for the photo iPods.
Opera Software today permanently removed the ad banner and licensing fee from its award-winning Web browser. The ad-free, full-featured Opera browser is now available for download - completely free of charge – at http://www.opera.com.
Today we invite the entire Internet community to use Opera and experience Web browsing as it should be,” said Jon S. von Tetzchner, CEO, Opera Software. “Removing the ad banner and licensing fee will encourage many new users to discover the speed, security and unmatched usability of the Opera browser.”
Opera was previously available free of charge with an ad banner. Users had the option of paying a licensing fee to remove the ad banner and receive premium support.
“Opera fans around the globe made this day possible,” said von Tetzchner. “As we grow our userbase, our mission and our promise remain steadfast: we will always offer the best Internet experience to our users - on any device. Today this mission gains new ground.
For 1 day only (today!) Opera is giving out free registration codes to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Direct Link…
Well any of you that have Macs and use Quicken for your business or banking probably realize that the .qif downloads you grab often wont import all the data you need. That “was” my case and from researching this issue it is the case for many others.
I download my sales transactions for EP from my PayPal account using the Quicken file option. I have Quicken on both my Mac and PC and the PC version always imported all of the data correctly. Well I have a Mac and want to use Quicken on my Mac and that was bugging the hell out of me.
Finally! I found a very simple answer. Qif Master is a very simple little program that fixes this issue. Just set up your preferences in the program, drag your .qif on to it, and bam… you’re all done. Now all of my data imports correctly in Quicken for Mac and I can finally have the wife do all the business stuff on her Mac mini :)
Ok, a Hummer for 30k… Sweet.

Now to convince the wife this is something we really really need for some reason or another.
